Autumn has arrived!
After a spectacular summer, cooler temperatures (this week notwithstanding) are bringing everyone indoors, where thoughts of renovating and building percolate to the top of our frothy fall minds!
An important part of every design is education! We all need it - clients and designers. Increasingly information about trends in color, style, and lighting come to us on our iPads, smartphones and laptops. To help you find the best apps and sites out there - I've listed a few of my favorites below! Take a look, and head to your next design meeting armed with inspiration!

Why do we love Flipboard? It's hard not to! Many app-ified content sites deliver with content, but falter on useability. Not Flipboard! High on visual appeal, it backs up the gloss with substance and the ease of drilling deep into subject matter without feeling like you've just slipped down the rabbit hole!
Be warned: this app will connect you with EVERYTHING you need for high quality content - not just design related sites. This is a good thing - because every great design, like individuals, benefits from broad exposure to information - and not just depth. Flipboard lets you do both!

Whether you are planning on building with an eye to sustainability, or are opting for conventional construction methods, this website should not be missed. This site packs a punch by providing both the reasons for building green, as well as the methodology for executing those strategies in the field! This may be heavy reading for some, but it's a worthwhile resource to include for those who want to move past picking out products, and desire to go deeper into the green building discussion!
